Man Down Alert is an alarm system designed to protect lone workers in hazardous work environments. It is an easy-to-use solution and helps to meet the legal duty of care of organisations, in the event a lone worker suffers an impact injury whilst working alone.

It monitors the device position and launches an alert if it detects any change in the lone worker's posture (changed tilt angle or non-movement). This allows employers to meet their legal obligations.

If a lone worker does not move within this time, an alert will be sent out to their nominated emergency contacts.

Using an accelerometer or Man Down sensor, the Man Down Alarm is able to identify and track changes in the lone worker's position, whether this is due to a fall or lack of movement. When the device detects a sudden change in the lone worker's position, an alert will be raised in the StaySafe hub, and a notification can be sent to the lone worker's employer or a third party to alert them to the issue.

The device is also able to be pre-alerted with a vibration and beep, in order to try and gain the lone worker's attention and make them aware of the Man Down Alarm's imminent raising. https://loneworkeralarms.com.au/lone-worker-safety-devices-au/ If the pre-alert is not cancelled, an alert will be raised and an escalation procedure will be initiated to ensure that the lone worker is rescued on time.
