My dog Toby is often a daschund (I don't know if I am spelling that correctly). Someone explained once that dashchunds (maybe if I spell it differently whenever, I will get it right among the times) were originally bred to hunt and kill gophers. It totally is smart to me. He is my protector. Even when the rest of my loved ones could care less what I am doing, Toby is following me around (being fair, he could be searching for me to drop food he can snag).
Anyway, yesterday I allow him to over to pee one final time when it is bedtime and he didn't can be found in and I heard a racket of barking and snarling outside my bedroom door. I went out to take a look (and to generate him be quiet prior to the police, FBI, CIA and neighborhood watch were called) and I saw he'd a huge (okay, I exaggerate, a very, substantial) possum as part of his jaws anf the husband was throwing it around being a rag doll. I immediately considered rabies. He gets his shots regularly for this very reason. So now, to enhance the thunderous noise during my backyard, I started screaming at him "You're gonna get rabies from that thing! Drop it now!" He, needless to say, ignored me completely and tossed finished . a lot more. I know I should love all of God's creatures, but I find possums really repugnant. I apologize to anyone who thinks they may be cute. And, in addition, you need to seek specialist help.
So there I am, wrestling which has a dog who is wrestling which has a possum. Someone really should have gotten it on film. I finally got him from it and shoved him inside. This morning Toby could barely contain himself he wanted to go outside so bad. I was not fooled into thinking his bladder was that full. No dummy, moi. So I went outside and low and behold - the possum was gone!
